Firouzgar General Hospital
- Firouzgar general Hospital is affiliated to Iran University of Medical Sciences and is one the largest Hospital in the country. This hospital is a referral center in the region and provides a full range of care facilities.
- Firouzgar General Hospital was endowed in 1951 to the Ministry of Health by Goshtasb Firouzgar. In 1954, it started as a clinic, and in 1964, it was officially established with 170 beds, an operating room, internal departments, obstetrics surgery, pediatrics, ophthalmology, ENT, orthopedics, general dentistry, mother and child health, and emergency. It is in charge of the medical education of interns and residents in nursing and allied medicine.
